Kiddie Two

And here is the other kiddie record I promised you for this evening. If possible, this one is even worse than the last one. But you know you're going to download it and listen anyway. I tell you what, while I have your attention, let me point you towards Kiddie Records Weekly. They have all the good kiddie records, and they've been sharing them out for three years now. Also, they just announced that after taking a break for the past year, they are coming back for another year's worth of great music, starting January first! So head on over there and get some great kiddie music. For some poor-to-mediocre kiddie music, download Simon Says-Rudolph The Red Nosed Reindeer And Other Christmas Favorites (Record Guild Of America SSX-1, Mono).

1. Rudolph The Red Nosed Reindeer
2. Angels We Have Heard On High
3. I Heard The Bells On Christmas Day
4. The Night Before Christmas
5. Jingle Bells
6. Deck The Halls With Boughs Of Holly
7. We Are Not Beggars
8. Joy To The World
9. The First Noel
10. Hark The Herald Angels Sing
11. O Little Town Of Bethlehem
12. It Came Upon A Midnight Clear
13. O Come All Ye Faithful
14. Silent Night

  1. Yes, you're right. I'm gonna download it anyway. But only because I finally sprung for a RapidShare Premium User account this year.

Okay, that's not true. I mean, I did spring for the account. But I would have downloaded it anyway.

  2. Why is it that these cool covers are wrapped around crappy records. I love when the cover and the music fit just right. I think of the Hollyridge Strings record....

  3. Wow! This is bad. Really bad. Really really bad. Thanks for inflicting this on me.

I love how the bass singer is half a beat behind, especially at the end of each line. Hysterical!

  4. I warned you. It's rare that I say something is bad, because I like so much stuff, but this one is not good. Great cover, though. Well, the artwork is great, nothing much to the layout.

  6. Merry Christmas Ernie! Thanks for all of the great (and some bad) music.

I also wanted to let you know that they are closing your favorite Goodwill store up here. Everybody has to be out by Dec. 31 and then they're going to tear down the mall and build apartments.

  7. An extra big Christmas thanks and wish for a blessed New Year to Ernie (Not Bert), The King of Jingaling (at Falalalala.com), AM, Then FM, A Christmas Yuleblog, Hi-Fi Holiday, Big Balls of Holly, Music You (Possibly) Won't Hear Anyplace Else, Christmas Music Everyday, Way Out Junk, Hip Christmas, Twelve Months of Christmas, Sanity Clause's Shanty and Santas Working Overtime--and MANY other faithful bloggers I have not mentioned by name--for the OUTstanding Christmas music shares! In my little universe alone, your generosity has made dozens of folks VERY happy, and I'm sure thousands more too, on all those Internets!

  9. Carbuncle: or the summer solstice?

Ernie: I hope you're well. (If it's this 'flu thing, fluids and vitamin C, keep eating, and hold on for a few days.) But please don't feel beholden to us. We surely do appreciate all the great (and even the not-so-great) stuff you've shared out over the last few years, but you could stop sharing right now and we'd still have 4,804,683,649 bytes just from the last four weeks....

I think the medicines I didn't mention are kicking in here....

What I mean is we don't just like you for the free stuff (though it's nice)

    Thanks!

  10. I know just how much I love this blog when there isn't a post for a couple of days.

Miss ya Ernie. Hope all is well. Thanks for all the music and musings. For me, they were as much a part of this holiday season as a viewing of A Charlie Brown Christmas.

    Hope your Christmas was merry!
