When I Die And They Lay Me To Rest

You gotta go where the pictures are, and in this case, the photo was in a cemetary. I think I have a shot of this same cemetary from my January trip, but I can't find it right now. This was in some little town in Ohio who's name escapes me. It's a weird little intersection where 5 or 6 roads come together. I'll have to look it up. Northfield, I think that's it.

November Begins

First day of the month, so you get a weekly calendar page in addition to the monthly page I just shared with you. And again, we're in the city of Cleveland. This time the picture is the Soldiers and Sailors Memorial, located in Public Square near the base of Terminal Tower. When I was here a couple of weeks ago, there was massive construction going on around the monument, so you couldn't actually get very close to it.

November 2006

Welcome to November! And that means a new calendar page. Here's another view of the Rock and Roll Hall Of Fame in Cleveland. Don't mind the construction equipment down below the round part, I'm sure the rumors of the building falling into Lake Erie are exaggerated.

The Day Before Halloween

Here's a photo of the full moon behind a spooky old tree I promised you the other day. Pretty nice picture for the day before Halloween, don't you think? This picture seems to pre-date the blog, which explains why I haven't shared it with you before.

Rats With Racing Stripes

Did I show you this guy already? I don't think so. Ohio seems to be overrun by these rats with racing stripes. Or, if you prefer, chipmunks. They are certainly fast! I got few pictures where they are standing still. And they don't let you get close at all. I shot this guy from six feet away or so, then had to crop the picture quite a bit.

The End Of October

For the last few days of October, here are some fall gourds. I shot these in Ohio sometime last year. They were plentiful during my trip this year, too. They love their fall up there!

Deer Me

I saw plenty of deer this time in Ohio. There were some on the way in from the airport, some in people's yards, and these in the woods at Bedford Reservation. There was a third one in there somewhere, but he didn't make it into this picture. Well, she didn't, I mean.

Daybreak

After days and days of rain and snow in Ohio, this was the sunrise on my last morning there. I think maybe they were happy to see me go. And there are those crummy power lines, again!
